As a licensed professional counselor, board certified art therapist, and registered yoga teacher, I utilize an integrative and trauma-informed approach to therapy. My goal is to help my clients feel safe in their physical body through grounding and containment exercises, through art making, and/or through talk or psycho-therapy.
Having begun my career working as a therapist on an inpatient unit for the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring illnesses, then later serving as Clinical Director of an Intensive Outpatient Facility for eating disorder treatment, I have a strong foundation on how to help those struggling with eating and feeding disorders. I am certified as an eating disorder specialist (CEDS) by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). I am also an approved supervisor for residents in counseling in the state of Virginia .
I believe in the intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) models. As such, I do my best to reject diet culture and challenge my own implicit biases about bodies, food, and race while encouraging my clients to re-connect with their body's own wisdom. I work to be neuroaffirming and encourage my clients to show up to each session in the ways that they feel most comfortable.
I am licensed to provide therapy services to clients in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and tele-health in Florida. I am a Board Certified Art Therapist as well.

While I am new to the counseling world, I have been supporting individuals and families impacted by eating disorders for over a decade. Having begun my career as a Registered Dietitian, I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults across the spectrum of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and OSFED.
Through this work, I came to understand that nutrition is only one piece of eating disorder recovery. Wanting to better understand the experiences driving eating disorder symptoms, I pursued a Master’s degree in Counseling and graduated in 2025. Along the way, I discovered that while a dietitian by training, my passion lies in counseling others.
Others have commented that I am able to offer a warm, compassionate space where clients feel seen. I believe deeply in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and practice from a person-centered framework grounded in unconditional positive regard. This integrative approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and draws from Relational Cultural Theory (RCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My work is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and evidence-based care, with a focus on helping clients challenge fear-based beliefs and build a more peaceful, trusting relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves.
I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP). Additionally, I have specialized training in Family-Based Therapy (FBT) informed care and a special interest in working with individuals living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) with and without co-occurring eating disorders.
